Almost five years ago, JOLI SAMEDI was born in Switzerland, driven by a strong conviction: to offer chic, timeless and ethical baby products. A brand born of a personal need, transformed into a genuine commitment to responsible fashion.
An awareness that changes everything
It all began when, as a young mother, I set out to find childcare products that were both environmentally friendly and socially responsible. What did I find? A multitude of items manufactured on a large scale, mainly in Asia, with little transparency about their ecological and human impact.
Then one day, I came across a video that shocked me: a seamstress in a huge textile factory, working with her baby on a cardboard box next to her. It was an electroshock. I realized that consuming differently wasn't just a choice, it was a necessity.
So I got out my mother's sewing machine and started making things for my daughter. I soon received orders from friends and family, and word of mouth began to spread. What began as a personal endeavor became a business project.

in the Morges region, where I make part of the collections.
In collaboration with women undergoing vocational rehabilitation or with disabilities
offering an opportunity for integration through craftsmanship.
Far from fast fashion, each item is designed to last, using high-quality materials. We favor organic fabrics, and when these are not available, we choose only Oeko-Tex-certified textiles, guaranteeing responsible, European production.
The Topponcino Montessori: a flagship product that makes a difference.
Among our creations, the Topponcino Montessori occupies a special place. For the uninitiated, it's a small oval mattress designed to wrap baby in a reassuring cocoon and ease the transition between parents' arms and baby's environment.
Like many new parents, we would have loved to have had one for our first daughter, who could only sleep in our arms. Faced with this revelation, we created our own prototype, using natural, healthy materials. Today, JOLI SAMEDI is the Swiss benchmark for organic Montessori Topponcino.
